Bird Watching

Kenya is blessed with one of the highest diversity of birds in the world with over 1100 species. This is a direct result of the diversity of habitats within the country. Some parks, reserves and forests have been Globally designated as Important Bird Areas(IBAs). Among the bird hotspots in Kenya are the Rift  Valley lakes of Nakuru, Naivasha, Baringo, Elementaita and Bogoria; Forests such as Arabuko Sokoke, Mau, Aberdares and Kakamega and Shimba; Estuaries such as Sabaki, Mida and parks such as Samburu, Tsavo, Mara, Amboseli and Tsavo.

For all our safaris and depending on the interest of the guests, a significant aspect of bird watching is incorporated. However, for people specifically interested in birds, we have the expertise needed to conduct bird watching safaris in Kenya.

Our birding safaris are usually at least 10 Days but we are able to arrange the trips as per your time budget and interests. The option of accommodation included or not, meals included or not, we are flexible to your requirements.
