DÍA 1: Nairobi - Lake Naivahsa

Saldremos de Nairobi temprano por la mañana para dirigirnos al Parque Nacional Hells Gate, donde llegaremos a tiempo para realizar una expedición a pie o en bicicleta por el famoso desfiladero Hell's Gate, donde podrá caminar y escalar por este terreno tan característico. A continuación, nos dirigiremos al lodge para registrarnos y almorzar. Por la tarde, daremos un paseo fotográfico en barco por el lago Naivasha.

DÍA 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

Daremos un paseo en barco antes del desayuno y regresaremos al campamento para desayunar. A continuación, saldremos hacia el lago Nakuru, donde llegaremos a la hora del almuerzo. Por la tarde, safari.

DÍA 3: Lake Nakuru - Maralal

Hoy realizaremos un safari antes del desayuno. Después del desayuno, nos dirigiremos hacia el borde del Gran Rupio, con vistas a las crestas de Subukia, y llegaremos a las cataratas Thomson para conocer la cultura tradicional kikuyu bajo las magníficas cascadas. Almorzaremos aquí y más tarde partiremos para un viaje por carretera de tres horas hasta Maralal, que ofrece hermosos paisajes y oportunidades para observar la fauna salvaje. Tendremos la oportunidad de ver de primera mano a la tribu samburu y su ganado, que se extiende por todo el camino con sus camellos, cabras y vacas, y su forma de vida. Llegada al lodge para cenar y descansar.

DÍA 4: Maralal - Loiyangalani

Salida después del desayuno y recorrido por este terreno muy accidentado en dirección norte. Haremos una parada en el acantilado de Lesiolo para fotografiar los hermosos paisajes con vistas al monte Ngiro, la montaña sagrada de Samburu. También haremos una breve parada en Baragoi, con una magnífica vista panorámica de las llanuras de Elberta y una visita a un pueblo samburu. Pasaremos por South Horr, un oasis ocupado por la tribu samburu, donde haremos una breve parada para almorzar en la selva. Llegaremos a Loyangalani por la tarde para cenar y pasar la noche.

DÍA 5: Loiyangalani (tribu El Molo)

Visitaremos la tribu El Molo, la más pequeña y en peligro de extinción. Viven junto al lago Turkana y sobreviven gracias a la pesca de tilapias y cocodrilos para alimentarse. Visitaremos el museo del desierto, donde se pueden ver todos los utensilios de las tribus del norte y lo que han utilizado a lo largo de la historia de sus vidas. Todas las comidas y alojamiento en el hotel.

DÍA 6: Loiyangalani (tribu Turkana)

Hoy pasaremos el día con el pueblo Turkana en la región de Turkana, que ocupa toda la zona alrededor del lago Turkana. El lago Turkana es el lago desértico más largo de la historia del mundo, anteriormente conocido como lago Rudolph. Visitaremos dos pueblos Turkana para conocer su forma de sobrevivir en esta región tan difícil. Comidas y alojamiento en el hotel.

DÍA 7: Loiyangalani - Ngurunit

Después del desayuno, nos dirigiremos hacia el sur disfrutando de excursiones por las ricas colinas de la montaña sagrada Samburu de Ngiro y el monte Kulal, con vistas al lago Turkana. Esta zona es famosa por las tribus Samburu originales, ya que se cree que se originaron aquí. Visitaremos un pueblo en South Horr para disfrutar del estilo de vida natural y las tradiciones. Más tarde, nos dirigiremos a Ngurunit. Comidas y alojamiento en el campamento.

DÍA 8: Ngurunit (tribu Rendile)

Hoy exploramos la tribu Rendile. Después del desayuno, daremos un paseo para explorar el desierto y visitaremos el río Migris, un punto de alimentación especial para la fauna silvestre y los animales domésticos. Este río, con arenas blancas y pesadas, se extiende a lo largo de más de 50 metros de ancho, y los pozos de agua cantantes de los Rendile son el principal punto de abrevadero para sus animales. La visita a las aldeas locales es todo un descubrimiento. Aprendemos y experimentamos de primera mano el modo de vida del pueblo Rendile, que ordeña camellos y cabras como única forma de supervivencia en este desierto. Comidas y alojamiento en el campamento.

DÍA 9: Ngurunit - Samburu NR

Después del desayuno, partimos para un emocionante recorrido por las escarpadas dunas de arena hasta la Reserva Nacional de Samburu. Llegamos a tiempo para el safari nocturno. Alojamiento en el lodge.

DÍA 10: Samburu NR

Hoy le espera una nueva exploración de esta fascinante reserva con un safari matutino que comienza antes del amanecer y un desayuno tipo pícnic. Por la tarde, safari hasta después del atardecer. Almuerzo en el campamento.

DÍA 11: Samburu NR - Nairobi

Hoy realizaremos un safari matutino en Samburu. Regresaremos al campamento para desayunar antes de hacer el check-out y partir hacia Nairobi. Llegada a última hora de la tarde para dejar a los huéspedes en el aeropuerto JKIA o en el hotel. Fin del safari.

DAY 1: Nairobi - Lake Naivahsa

We depart Nairobi in the early morning for the drive to Hells Gate NP arriving in time for a trek/cycling expedition to famous Hell’s gate gorge where you will hike and climb through the distinctive terrain. Thereafter, we proceed tothe lodge for check-in and lunch. Evening photographic boat ride at Lake Naivasha. 

DAY 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru

We will have a pre-breakfast boat ride returning to camp for breakfast. Thereafter depart for the drive to Lake Nakuru arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive.

DAY 3: Lake Nakuru - Maralal

Today, we have a pre-breakfast game. After breakfast, we drive towards the edge of the Great Rift over-looking the Subukia ridges and arrive at Thomson falls for kikuyu traditional Culture under the magnificent waterfalls. We will have lunch here and later depart for a three-hour road trip to Maralal that offers beautiful scenery as well as wildlife sporting chances. We have a good chance to see first-hand Samburu tribe and their livestock spreading all the way with their camels, goats and cows, their way life. Arrive at the Lodge for dinner and rest.

DAY 4: Maralal - Loiyangalani

Depart after breakfast and drive in this very rough terrain heading North. We have a stop-over at Lesiolo escarpment for photographs of the beautiful sceneries over-looking Mt Ngiro, the sacred Samburu Mountain We will also have a brief stop-over in Baragoi, with a great scenic view of the Elberta plains and a visit to a Samburu village. We pass through South Horr, an oasis centre occupied by the Samburu tribesmen for a brief lunch break in the jungle. We arrive at Loyangalani in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.

DAY 5: Loiyangalani (tribu El Molo)

Visit the El Molo tribe, the smallest tribe at risk of extinction. They live next to Lake Turkana and survive by fishing of tilapia and crocodiles for food. Visit the desert museum where you see all the northern tribes’ hardware and what they have used along the history of their lives. All meals and overnight at the hotel

DAY 6: Loiyangalani (tribu Turkana)

Today we spend the day with the Turkana people within the Turkana region occupying the area all round lake Turkana. Lake Turkana is the longest desert lake in the world history previously known as lake Rudolph. We will visit two Turkana villages, knowing their way of survival in this hardship region. Meals and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7: Loiyangalani - Ngurunit

After breakfast, we head South enjoying excursions along the rich hills of Samburu Sacred mountain of Ngiro and Mount Kulal overlooking the Lake Turkana. This area is famous for the original Samburu tribes because it is believed they originated form here. We will visit a village at South Horr to enjoy the natural way of life and traditions. Later, we drive to Ngurunit. Meals and overnight at the Camp.

DAY 8: Ngurunit (tribu Rendile)

Today we explore Rendile tribe. After breakfast, we will take a walk to explore the desert and visit the Migris river, a special feeding point of wildlife and domestic animals. This river with heavy white sands spreads at over 50-meter-wide with Rendile singing watering wells is the main watering point for their animals. A visit to the local villages is a discovery. We learn and experience firsthand, the livelihood of theRendile people milking their camels and goats as their only way of survival in this desert. Meals and overnight at the Camp.

DAY 9: Ngurunit - Samburu NR

After breakfast, we depart for an exciting drive through rough sand dunes to Samburu National Reserve. We arrive in time for the evening game drive. Overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 10: Samburu NR

Further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you today via an early morning game drive starting before sunrise with picnic breakfast. Afternoon game drive until after sunset. Lunch at the camp.

DAY 11: Samburu NR - Nairobi

Today we have an early morning game drive in Samburu. We return to the camp for breakfast before checking-out and departure for the drive back to Nairobi. Arrival in the late afternoon for drop-off at JKIA or Hotel.  End of safari.
